A Visionary Beginning

The story of Avatti began in 1994 in Iași, under the leadership of Liana Bărbulescu. A talented architect, deeply passionate about aesthetics and precision, she guided our company for over two decades, leaving an indelible mark on our history.

With a keen eye for innovation, our founder has been at the forefront of revolutionizing the application of plasterboard systems in interior finishes. Recognizing the value of these innovative materials and their boundless potential in project execution, she took it upon herself to train everyone who joined the company - from engineers to laborers. This bold move positioned Avatti as one of the first distributors of Rigips® in Romania.

Liana Bărbulescu made a name in the industry through her commitment, hands-on approach to project coordination, and ability to overcome challenges with creative solutions. In a male-dominated world, she succeeded in establishing a business renowned for its excellence and professionalism.

It was merely the beginning. Over the years, we've been involved in more than 130 endeavors across various sectors: industrial, retail, entertainment, commercial, residential, and hospitality. Delivering on promises and surpassing expectations have become our hallmarks.

Each project brought its unique set of challenges, and every encounter left us enriched with valuable lessons. Through these varied experiences, we've understood that each project demands a tailored approach. Hence, we adapted, fostered creative thinking, and proactively tackled obstacles, while remaining true to our core values.
Our mission has always revolved around cultivating enduring partnerships grounded in mutual respect. We've forged robust alliances with some of the most respected real estate developers and retail operators: Iulius Group, Nepi Rockcastle, Prime Kapital, and One United Properties.

Our collaboration with Iulius Group, which has flourished over 25 years, stands as a shining example of trust and shared success. Together, we have brought to life some of Romania's most iconic buildings: Iulius Mall Iași (1999, 2005, 2008), Iulius Mall Timișoara (2005, 2009), Palas Mall Iași (2012), United Business Center Timișoara (2016-2023), United Business Center C1 Riviera Cluj (2018), and Palas Campus (2022-2023), leaving mark on the landscape and enriching the lives of countless communities.
