Execution and turnkey delivery of interior architectural works: masonry, partitions, cladding,
screeds, ceilings, finishes, and painting.
Nestled in the heart of Brașov, the five-star hotel combines the old and the new, preserving
some of the features of the original building built in 1930 and a fragment of the Brașov citadel discovered during
the execution works. The project involved the rehabilitation of a deteriorated edifice and transforming it into a
distinguished destination offering premium tourist services. The architecture and interior design works were carried out by Arhi Grup.
Undertaking the restoration of an old building is always a complex endeavor. The hotel's
location in the historic center posed our greatest challenge: ensuring the provision of construction materials
through streets with limited access.
The challenges we faced encompassed both practical and technical aspects. Unfavorable weather conditions, marked
by cold temperatures, added an extra layer of complexity to the project.
In terms of construction, our focus was to develop systems that met stringent acoustic
specifications and to achieve the highest feasible acoustic insulation index, in accordance with the hotel's
requirements. Additionally, we aimed to integrate the new additions with the existing structure, while
meticulously considering the alignment of the facades. During the execution phase, we effectively adhered to
demanding project timelines.
