Scope of work

Iulius Mall Iasi was the first project we developed in collaboration with Iulius Group, between 1999 and 2000. After over two decades of successful partnership, we were honored to be involved in the construction of UBC office buildings in Timișoara from 2016-2023. They constitute an integral part of the expansive Iulius Town multifunctional complex, which stands as the largest mixed-use project in western Romania.

The project

The United Business Center buildings in Timișoara form an integral part of Iulius Town, representing the most expansive mixed-use project in western Romania.

UBC 2 is the inaugural office building within the Iulius Town Timișoara ensemble. With a leasable area of 18,000 square meters, it set new standards by harmonizing contemporary design with advanced technology. UBC 1, the second building of the mixed-used complex inaugurated in 2017, stands at a height of 13 floors and features class-A facilities. As for UBC 3, unveiled in 2019, it exhibits impressive architecture and has a total leasable area of 19,000 square meters.

UBC 0, the latest building inaugurated by Iulius Group, embodies the forefront of next-generation upscale office structures in Timişoara. Designed and built in accordance with international green building principles, it is LEED Platinum certified and benefits from the implementation of the Building Management System (BMS) technology.

The process

Our involvement in these projects entailed the interior fit-outs of both shared areas and office spaces for renowned multinational corporations operating in the IT, outsourcing, and automotive sectors, such as IBM, Endava, Porche, Unicredit, or Toluna.

This complex project encompassed a diverse range of works across multiple fronts, necessitating meticulous coordination of teams and strict adherence to the specified completion deadlines as required by the client.

A 20-year strong partnership

In the construction industry, trust is the foundation on which reliable partnerships and successful project outcomes are built. Proof of this is our enduring collaboration with Iulius Group, which began in 1999 with our involvement in the development of Iulius Mall, the pioneering modern shopping center in Iași—the first outside Bucharest and the second in Romania.

Through the years, we continued to work together on the expansion of Iulius Mall Iași, in 2005 and 2008, the construction of Iulius Mall Timișoara in 2005, and its expansion in 2009. We were also involved in the construction of Palas Mall Iași, inaugurated in 2012. In this project, we executed fit-out works for commercial spaces, showrooms, and offices to meet the tenants' requirements.

Our partnership with Iulius Group led to the development of other notable projects such as United Business Center C1 Riviera Cluj in 2018 and Palas Campus, between 2022 and 2023.
